Kia Seltos
Whether you want balanced drivability or exciting turbocharged power, you’ll get what you’re looking for with the Seltos.

Not only that, but it also comes standard with Dynamax™ All-Wheel Drive (AWD). This is a smart AWD system that automatically readjusts torque distribution to meet your traction control needs. You can further customize your drive with three different selectable drive modes: Normal, Eco, and Sport.

The 2021 Kia Seltos comes equipped with features that can help you get where you want to go. For example, standard Electronic Stability Control (ESC) controls the engine and brakes, providing better directional stability as you tackle challenging driving situations. Meanwhile, if you’re heading down a steep decline, Downhill Brake Control (DBC) prevents some of that touch-and-go tapping you need to do in other manufacturer models.

Heading up the hill instead? Well, Hill Start Assist Control (HAC) will be there to help you. When holding down on the brake, you’ll have an extra few seconds to move your foot to the gas pedal and get the Seltos momentum going.

2021 Seltos Technology Review

The 2021 Kia Seltos delivers with some fun and useful technology features. These include available driver-assist features that can add an extra layer of convenience and safety to your drives.

Available features include:

  • Forward Collision Avoidance-Assist Camera (FCA)
  • High Beam Assist (HBA)
  • Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist-Rear (BCA-R)
  • Safe Exit Assist (SEA)

Forward-collision technology detects a potential frontal collision with another set of wheels, pedestrian, or cyclist, letting you know if you’re getting too close. In some cases, the brakes can even apply themselves to avoid the collision altogether. BCA-R warns you of another driver in your blind spot, applying corrective braking to avoid potentially difficult lane changes.

There is also an available Driver Attention Warning (DAW) feature. This monitors behaviors that may indicate drowsy or distracted driving. If detected, it’ll provide a gentle suggestion that it’s time for a break from behind the wheel.

Inside the cabin, there’s even more tech. For example, the Seltos comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen display with a 10.25-inch touchscreen available too. Both systems are compatible with connectivity features like Bluetooth® wireless, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto™ smartphone integration.

Best of all, you don’t have to bring all those wires and cords with you ever again. In some Seltos trims, you’ll have a wireless phone charger, which allows you to place your smartphone on a charging pad in the console area. Want to make sure you’re charged up and ready to go? Use this wireless charger to your advantage and you’ll be at 100% when you get to mom’s house.

Interior Dimensions and Exterior Style

Whether you’re watching from a distance or seated right behind the wheel, you’ll probably find something to like about the Kia Seltos. Let’s start with the spacious interior.

This Kia SUV has two rows that can seat up to five passengers comfortably. This is clear from the following interior dimensions:

  • Headroom (front/rear): 40 in./38.4 in.
  • Legroom (front/rear): 41.4 in./38 in.
  • Cargo volume behind rear seats: 26.6 cu. ft.
  • Cargo volume with rear seats folded down: 62.8 cu. ft.

Note that your headroom dimensions may vary if you choose to equip your Seltos with the available power sunroof feature.

On the outside, you’ll find a smooth body that’s aerodynamic and ready for action. You can paint it with a variety of colors to match your personal style, including available 2-tone options. These come in body colors like Dark Ocean Blue, Starbright Yellow, and Clear White with a Cherry Black roof.

A Stylish Kia Seltos Cabin You’ll Love

Kia SeltosThe sleek Kia Seltos cabin modernizes the driving experience with plenty of space to stretch out, comfortable seats, and features designed to keep you comfortable. For example, while the Seltos does not have standard leather seats, it does have available SOFINO seat trim, which is similar to leather.

The optional 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support allows you to customize the seat to your liking. With 10 different ways to set up this driver’s seat, you’re always in control, whether your next trip is five minutes or five hours. Both seats up front can be equipped with heated functionality, keeping you warm when the cold weather sets in. Best of all, there are different settings to find the perfect level of heat for the appropriate time of year.

Kia doesn’t forget about the second row, either. That’s because the second-row reclining seats with multiple adjustment settings can be used to allow passengers to recline and feel relaxed. It’s not quite the same as your recliner at home, but it’s pretty close.
