Discover Style and Performance with the 2025 Kia K5

Engine Options and Performance

The 2025 K5 swaps out the old engine for a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that pumps out 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission comes standard with front-wheel drive, and fuel economy is 30 mpg combined (26 city/37 highway). The GT-Line model is available with all-wheel drive, giving you better handling on tricky roads.

A turbocharged version of the 2.5-liter engine is available on the GT trim. It increases the power to 290 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, making drives on the highway and open roads more enjoyable. With this powertrain, the K5 averages 27 mpg (23 city/33 highway).

Exterior Features

With the new updates, the K5 now gets standard 16-inch gloss black alloy wheels, with 18-inch and 19-inch options across the lineup. It also comes with multi-reflector LED headlights, LED taillights, and optional fog lights. The GT-Line trim takes styling up a notch with unique wheels, gloss black touches, and a sportier design.

Seating and Comfort

The K5 cabin is cozy, spacious, and well crafted using premium materials. With 40.7 inches of front legroom and 37.8 inches of rear legroom, passengers in both rows get a comfortable ride. The base LXS comes standard with cloth seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and manually adjustable front seats.

The other models get SynTex seats, while the GT-Line and GT trims add branded seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel for extra style. Heated front seats, a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a power sunroof are available on higher trims. You can also get ventilated front seats and a 10-way power driver’s seat on the GT and EX trims.

Infotainment Tech

The infotainment display is a 12.3-inch touchscreen unit that offers built-in navigation on all trims except the base. A matching 12.3-inch instrument display is available on the GT and EX trims. With wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, you can access smartphone apps right on the center display.

You’ll also find a 6-speaker sound system, which can be upgraded with a 12-speaker Bose sound system on most trims. All grades also get a wireless charging pad, plus two USB charging ports in the front and two in the back.

Driver Assistance

Every K5 is equipped with an automatic emergency braking system to prevent front collisions with cars and pedestrians. Other advanced safety features include blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear cross-traffic alert. Front and rear parking sensors are also standard.
