Family Adventures Awaits in the Spacious 2024 Kia Sorento
All five trims of the 2024 Sorento have a cargo volume of 75.5 cubic feet behind the first row, 38.5 to 45.0 cubic feet behind the second row, and 12.6 cubic feet behind the third row. The LX and S trims seat seven passengers, while the EX, SX, and SXP trims seat six passengers.
The LX and S trims have a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine with 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. This engine is equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The EX, SX, and SXP have a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 281 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. A dual-clutch eight-speed transmission is standard for this engine.
LX
The LX has standard features such as amber LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a 4.3-inch LCD supervision meter cluster. The FWD LX gets 26 MPG combined, and the AWD LX gets 24 MPG combined.
S
The standard features for the S trim include 18-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, heated outside mirrors, and a dual-level cargo floor. The fuel economy for the FWD S is 24 MPG in the city and 19 MPG on the highway, while the AWD S gets 23 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway.
EX
The EX trim comes with power-adjustable side mirrors with LED turn signals, 20-inch alloy wheels, and heated front seats with three settings. The AWD EX has a combined fuel economy of 24 MPG, and the FWD EX has a combined fuel economy of 25 MPG.
SX
The standard features for this trim include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, and rain-sensing front windshield wipers. The SX has the same fuel economy and drivetrain options as the EX.
SXP
The SXP or SX Prestige trim is the highest trim level available this year. The standard features for this trim include a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, and a Bose premium audio system. This model is only available with an AWD drivetrain, which gets 21 MPG in the city, 28 MPG on the highway, and 24 MPG combined.

This year, the Sorento has two additional powertrain options. The hybrid and plug-in hybrid models extend the fuel efficiency of the gas engine Sorento, which is beneficial for eco-conscious drivers and commuters.
